Pick-up & Drop-off
Our English speaking tour guide will transfer you from Chiang Mai Airport/Hotel to Ban Mae Kampong in the afternoon, and leave from the village on your departure day around noon. We can drop-off at either Chiang Mai airport or a hotel in Chiang Mai city.
Life Style
Enjoy a simple lifestyle in peaceful environment and among hospitable villagers. Best if you can stay with them through a Buddhist holy day, making merit with them at the temple which located by the river. The village is distinct, quiet and known for healthy environment.
Dining and Khantoke
Khantoke is a well-known dining experience in Lanna, but it’s also different in each area. Here in Ban Mae Kampong is known for its healthy Khantoke. There are several special menus serving throughout the days, which all ingredients would be planted by villagers, and prepared and cooked in hygienic condition. They are full of nutrition and delicious. There will also be a special chance to try and taste Tea Leaf Herbal Salad, a mix of fresh tea leaves and healthy herbs with pork crackling as a favor.
Yang Krae, Healthy by Nature
Villagers promote a local massage and dried spa service known as Yang Krae. It’s an old wisdom that uses herbs such as Plub-plueng leaves to heal. It can help relax your muscles, reduce your stress and even belly.
Nature Education, Trekking and Herbs
There is a small waterfall located in Mae Takrai National Park with water flows throughout the year. It’s one of the nature trekking route, which isn’t very far from the village. There is also another trekking route through tea and coffee farms. Some of the trees along the route are more than over 100 years old.

Day 3 – Ban Mae Kampong
Relax by the river and enjoy the charm of Thai hospitality. Experience a special type of herbal sauna and traditional massage known in Thai as Yang Krae.
Day 4 – Ban Mae Kampong
Enjoy your trip to a Miang farm and a coffee farm, learning about harvesting and making coffee, as well as the cultivation of chew-able fermented wild tea leaves known as Miang.
Day 5 – Departure
Improve your understandings about local handicraft items, such as Miang pillow, and be amazed by the various features of Miang. Drop-off at your hotel/airport in Chiang Mai.
